Sarah-Émilie Bouchard has been Chief of Staff in the Office of the President and Chief Executive Officer since March 2020. She is responsible for monitoring organizational priorities, managing relations between the Office of the President and internal and external stakeholders of the CDPQ, as well as advising the President and Chief Executive Officer on various issues.
With the organization since 2011, Ms. Bouchard held various positions within the public affairs team, first as editor and spokesperson for media relations, then within the strategic communications team. As Senior Director, she oversaw the team responsible for communications surrounding investment activities – business development, outreach and reputational risk –, digital communications and various public affairs files. For several years, she also piloted the exercise of disclosing the institution's financial results and participated in the work carried out on its brand. Before joining the CDPQ, she worked as a consultant with the public relations firm Hill & Knowlton,
Ms. Bouchard holds a bachelor's degree in public relations from the University of Quebec in Montreal. She is a member of the boards of directors of Ivanhoé Cambridge, the real estate subsidiary of the CDPQ, of the Compagnie Duceppe, a reference in the Quebec theater community, and of the organization La rue des Femmes, which welcomes and cares for women in homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless.
