Katie Llanos-Small has a diverse work experience in the field of finance and journalism. Katie started their career at EuroWeek, where they worked as an Emerging Markets Reporter. Katie then became the Deputy Fixed Income Editor and later served as the Fixed Income & Bank Finance Editor, where they were responsible for running EuroWeek's bank finance news service. During their time at EuroWeek, they also helped launch and edit a daily news service focusing on European structured finance news.

After EuroWeek, Katie joined LatinFinance as the Features Editor, overseeing the publication of the bi-monthly magazine and managing the production process. Katie also worked as the News Editor and introduced changes to the coverage style and format of the Daily Brief, LatinFinance's capital markets news service. As the Editor In Chief, they led the team of reporters covering Latin American financial markets and made the Daily Brief more relevant and accessible to readers.
