Ornela Yoana Cavalieri, MSc, is an experienced environmental consultant and researcher with a strong background in agronomy and interdisciplinary collaboration. Currently affiliated with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as part of the Commission on Ecosystem Management, Ornela contributes to various specialist and thematic groups focused on ecosystem restoration and sustainable management. Previous roles include research and teaching assistant positions at the National University of Rosario, where Ornela engaged in cryptogamic botany and phytopathology research, enhancing laboratory protocols and contributing to agronomy-related publications. With a master's degree in Biological Sciences from The University of Western Australia, Ornela has successfully managed research projects, conducted statistical analyses, and worked on community engagement initiatives in environmental protection.
