Sofie Smeyers is a seasoned accounting professional with over two decades of experience in various roles within the finance sector. Currently serving as Chief Accountant at ITZU Group since October 2023, Sofie previously held positions as Head Accountant at Impermo from May 2020 to October 2023 and Senior Accountant at Stayen nv from January 2016 to May 2020. Earlier career experience includes working in accountancy and finance at Planet Europe nv and in accountancy at Acrog Accountancy. Sofie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen, obtained between 1998 and 2001.
