Miguel Villarreal

IT Support Specialist at ITJuana

Miguel Villarreal has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Miguel began their career in 2011 at Telvista Inc., starting as a Technical Support Agent and progressing to an Internal Help Desk role, and eventually becoming an Operations Supervisor. In 2017, Miguel joined Samsung SRT, where they worked as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Engineer, and Team Leader for the Autodetection team. Their responsibilities included improving content for Samsung TV based on visual analysis, supporting the commercialization of HDMI-Autodetection and channel number recognition feature, and collecting datasets for developing auto-detection and channel number recognition feature. Most recently, Miguel joined ITJuana in 2022 as a Quality Assurance Tester and began their training as an IT Support Specialist for XiltriX, while also working as a Software QA Test Engineer for American National Insurance, where they demonstrated critical thinking skills, bug reporting and tracking, and designing test cases.

Miguel Villarreal completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Tijuana from 2011 to 2015. Miguel then pursued further education and obtained a Master's Degree in Cyber Security from ISU Universidad between 2023 and 2024. Additionally, Miguel Villarreal has acquired certifications in Omnichannel Agent from Zendesk in July 2023 and Using Python for Automation from LinkedIn in April 2022.
