Hitesh Thakkar has extensive experience in leadership roles within the financial services sector. Currently serving as Acting CEO of ITI Mutual Fund since March 2019, Hitesh played a pivotal role in establishing the mutual fund business, including setting up headquarters and branches across India. Prior to this, Hitesh was Head of Operations & Customer Service, overseeing various operational functions. Hitesh's earlier positions include Assistant Director at the Electrical Research and Development Association, where strategic leadership was provided to enhance organizational processes, as well as Chief Manager - Compliance at Nippon Life India Asset Management, where oversight of compliance and operations for multiple branches was a key responsibility. Hitesh also held managerial roles at IDBI Bank and HDFC Bank. Hitesh holds an MBA from Gujarat University and has completed multiple certifications in corporate governance and risk management.
