Paulo Duarte has a diverse work history with experience in various roles. Paulo is currently working at Itera as a Senior UX Designer since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a User Experience Designer at Itera from August 2021 to June 2023.
Before joining Itera, Paulo worked as a Freelance Videographer from March 2019 to May 2020, where they specialized in videography, photography, and editing for editorial and commercial projects.
Paulo also has experience as a Youth and Culture worker at Lørenskog kommune from August 2017 to January 2019. Additionally, Paulo worked as an Assistant Production at OscarsborgOperaen in August 2018, and as a Videographer at Grundr from January 2018 to May 2018.

Paulo Duarte completed their Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Universidade Nova de Lisboa in 2014. Paulo then pursued a post-graduation in Anthropology, majoring in Visual Culture, from the same university, which they completed in 2015.
In 2020, Paulo enrolled in EDIT. - Disruptive Digital Education and obtained a certification in User Experience and User Interface Design. Paulo also pursued a Master's degree in Interaction Design from Tallinn University, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
Paulo has also obtained various certifications in the field of design and digital media. These include certifications such as "Design-Led Strategy: Design thinking for business strategy and entrepreneurship" from Coursera in July 2023, "Digital Project Management Foundations" from EDIT. - Disruptive Digital Education in March 2021, "UX Research at Scale: Surveys, Analytics and Online Testing" from FutureLearn in March 2021, and "Google Analytics for Beginners" from Google in March 2020, among others.
