Amit Patel is an accomplished Electrical Engineer at the ITER Organization since February 2021, focusing on High Voltage Power Supplies for the Ion Cyclotron System and Power Converters for Super Conducting coils. With extensive experience at the Institute For Plasma Research since September 2008, Amit has played a key role in designing and developing High Voltage, Multi-Megawatt Power Converters for specialized physics experiments including Nuclear Fusion and Particle Accelerators. Previously, Amit worked as an Assistant Engineer at the Electrical Research & Development Association (ERDA) from January 2007 to August 2008. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Power Electronics from Homi Bhabha National Institute (2016-2019), a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University (2008-2010), and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University (2003-2007).
