Subarna Makhal, Ph. D., has extensive experience in the dairy and food technology sectors, currently serving as the Head of Product & Technology Innovation for Dairy and Nutrition Products at ITC Limited since December 2012. Prior roles include leading the R&D department for Dairy & Beverages at Cavinkare Private Limited and managing R&D for Fresh Dairy & Ambient Products at Mother Dairy. Subarna began a career in research and development at National Dairy Research Institute and progressed through various positions in dairy and food technology. Subarna holds a Ph.D. in Dairy Technology from the National Dairy Research Institute and an MBA in Marketing, along with advanced degrees in Dairy Technology and certifications as a Lead Auditor for ISO standards.
