Emerson Bortoloto has extensive experience in internal auditing and governance within the financial sector, currently serving as the Diretor de Auditoria Interna at Itaú Unibanco since October 2011. In addition, Emerson holds multiple positions on various audit committees across several organizations, including Itaú Paraguay, Itaú Uruguay, Pravaler, TecBan, and CIP - Câmara Interbancária de Pagamentos, all starting from 2017. Prior to these roles, Emerson worked at Banco Itaú as Superintendente de Auditoria Interna from July 2003 to October 2011 and began the career at Ernst & Young as a senior auditor from 2001 to 2004. Emerson holds a degree from Faculdade Tibiriça.
