Marcos Arias Medina has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2007, they worked as a customer service representative at Sun Valley Company in the United States. In 2011, they moved to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to work as an engineer at JBA International Agritech, where they were responsible for aquaponic systems and the development of aquaculture and vegetable production. In 2015, Marcos joined EY as an assistant auditor in Santiago, Chile. Later in 2015, they joined Banco Santander Chile, where they held various roles, including Senior Strategy Manager and Segment Manager. Marcos focused on developing digital strategies, improving product offerings, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Currently, Marcos holds the position of Head Digital Strategy at Itaú Chile starting in 2023.
Marcos Arias Medina attended Universidad Andres Bello from 2014 to 2016, where they studied IngenierÃa Comercial. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2013, they pursued a degree in Ingenieria en Acuicultura at Universidad Católica de Temuco. In addition to their academic qualifications, Marcos has obtained certifications in Introduction to Python Basic from Kibernum IT Academy, Google Analytics for Beginners from Google, and Diplomado Innovación y Banca Digital from Universidad de Chile.
