Carl Williams is a highly experienced Senior R&D Scientist with a robust background in metalworking technology, currently employed at Italmatch Chemicals Spa since June 2018. Prior roles include Senior R&D Scientist at Afton Chemical, where responsibilities encompassed the development of metalworking fluid additives and bespoke formulations to meet customer needs. With a strong history at Houghton Plc, Williams progressed through various positions, culminating as Development Manager, overseeing product development and team management, while also engaging extensively with customers. Earlier experience includes formulatory work at FUCHS Lubricants and Century Oils Limited. Carl Williams holds a First Class BSc (Hons) in Applied & Analytical Chemistry from Staffordshire University.
