Melody Mahmoodi is an undergraduate student at MacEwan University pursuing a degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology, with an educational background from Jasper Place High School. Since November 2020, Melody has been working as a barista at the Italian Centre Shop. In the summer of 2022, Melody served as an undergraduate student researcher at the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta, focusing on oncology. Additionally, in August 2018, Melody showcased artistic talent by creating a unique musical instrument, a tin can cymbals, inspired by a Ted Talk, utilizing available hand tools.
