Dragos Panaitescu is a seasoned Java Developer and Tech Lead with extensive experience in developing and supporting banking solutions, particularly in the area of Open Banking APIs compliant with PSD2 regulations. Currently at IT Smart Systems since November 2015, Dragos has contributed to API monitoring solutions and developed interfaces for major banks in Romania. Previous roles include creating a Single Sign-On solution for a leading payment service provider and developing a shopping assistant mobile app for a major European retailer. Earlier career positions include Full Stack Web Developer at tourneo.ro, Travel Manager at Deluxe Tour, and Travel Consultant at Del Mar Travel and ART Travel. Dragos holds a Master's degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management and a Bachelor's degree in Tourism from the University of Bucharest, along with a high school diploma in Maths - Computer Science.
