Val Deskins has extensive experience in IT consulting and management, currently serving as a Consultant at IT Cadre since April 2013, where Val leads agile projects and combines technical and leadership skills for strategic planning. Prior roles include IT Director of Solutions Delivery at JBS, where Val managed software development and integration services, and multiple IT management positions focused on merger and acquisition integration and software support. Val has a background in independent consulting, serving Fortune 500 clients across various industries, and worked with Protégé Systems and AFG Industries, developing distribution systems and supervising manufacturing projects. Val holds a B.S. in Computer Science and has pursued graduate studies in Software Engineering at East Tennessee State University.
