Marko Niskala is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in information technology and project management. Currently serving as a Solutions Architect and Information Technology Architect at Istekki Oy since February 2021, Marko plays a key role in the rapidly growing organization focused on Information, Health, and Wellness Technology. Prior to this, Marko held significant positions including Project Manager and Service Director at the City of Oulu, and Regional Government Reform ICT-infrastructure Project Manager at the Council of Oulu Region, where responsibilities included planning and implementing ICT infrastructure for regional government reform. Marko's career in ICT began at Oulu Information Technology, with roles as Service Director and Infrastructure Manager, followed by early experience as a Software Engineer at CCC. Marko holds a Master of Engineering degree in Technology Business from Oulu University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor degree in Information Technology and Telecommunications from Oulu Polytechnic Institute of Technology.
