Gideon Bar-Zakai is an experienced sourcing manager currently with ICL Group since June 2021, where responsibilities include managing civil engineering works and metal contractor operations within the global indirect procurement management team. Previous experience includes roles as procurement manager at GE Renewable Energy, overseeing significant projects and supplier negotiations, as well as a senior procurement specialist focusing on best practice procurement processes. Earlier roles include purchasing manager at FSM Ground Services LTD, where a procurement department was established, and logistics coordination at various companies including Applied Materials and Flying Cargo. Gideon holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Bar-Ilan University, a Certified Procurement Manager designation from IFPSM, and has pursued further education in procurement management.
