Takayoshi ISHIYAMA, Ph.D, is a skilled propulsion design engineer currently working at ispace, inc. since December 2022. Prior to this role, Takayoshi served as an autonomous driving software engineer at Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. from April 2019 to December 2022, and held a position as a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Research Fellow (DC2) at Tohoku University from April 2016 to March 2018. Academically, Takayoshi obtained a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from Tohoku University, a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Keio University, and also studied at Ecole centrale de Lyon.
