Dr. Friedrich Tegel has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Dr. Friedrich is currently the Vice President and Head of the Project Management Organization (PMO) at ITM Isotope Technologies Munich SE since April 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of PMO from October 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining ITM Isotope Technologies Munich SE, Dr. Tegel worked as a freelance Coach and Trainer at COMMUNIGENCE since 2009. Dr. Friedrich also served as the Managing Director and Director of Operations at AMW GmbH from August 2017 to August 2021. Additionally, they held the positions of Head of Operational Excellence and Head of IQP (Innovation, Quality & Productivity) PharmOps Austria at Novartis from May 2013 to July 2017.

Dr. Tegel's previous experience includes working as a Senior Project Manager and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt at SANDOZ-NOVARTIS Biopharmaceuticals Oncology Injectables from July 2011 to April 2013, and as a Project Manager at SANDOZ (HEXAL, a NOVARTIS Company) from October 2005 to June 2011.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Tegel worked as a Project Manager at Pharmalog from July 2005 to September 2005, and at MedPharmTec from October 2002 to June 2005. Dr. Friedrich also completed their PhD at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from January 1998 to September 2002.

Dr. Friedrich Tegel has a diverse education history. Dr. Friedrich obtained a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Chemistry and Biology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Dr. Friedrich also completed various certifications and programs, including becoming a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the Institute for Lean Six Sigma, studying QbD (Quality by Design) / MVDA (Multivariate Data Analysis) at NOVARTIS BioPharmOps, and completing the Foundation + Practitioner program in PRINCE2 (a process-oriented Project Management Methodology) from the UK Office of Government Commerce. Additionally, Dr. Tegel received training in NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming), Systemic Approach, and gained guest student experience in Business Administration at the Technical University of Munich.
