Julia Nelson, LMFT, LCMHC, serves as a Psychology Instructor at Isothermal Community College since August 2020 and is the Owner of Nelson Christian Counseling, a position held since November 2015. Julia has a robust background in counseling and therapy, including experience as an Administrative Counsel at Upward Christian Fellowship from 2012 to May 2017, and as a Graduate Intern at Family Preservation Services, where responsibilities included individual and family therapy, triage services, and group facilitation. Julia's earlier roles include a Graduate Practicum and Internship at the Family Resource Center, focusing on domestic violence counseling and education. Julia earned a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Business from Liberty University.
