Meena Y. is a consultant in the water sector with extensive experience in water engineering and environmental management. Currently at Isle Utilities since November 2022, Meena has contributed to key projects including developing circular economy roadmaps for wastewater and desalination plants, and environmental monitoring solutions for mining-influenced waters. Prior roles include representing young water professionals at WaterRA, serving as a Wastewater & Reuse Engineer at SUEZ Australia & New Zealand, and commissioning an advanced water recycling plant at Allwater. Meena has also supported academic initiatives at the University of South Australia as a water quality coordinator and PhD research scholar, focusing on drug fate in wastewater treatment. With a strong educational background in water engineering and biotechnology, Meena holds a PhD from the University of South Australia, a Master's in Biotechnology, and a Bachelor's in Science.
