Finn Boss is an experienced outdoor educator, currently providing culturally responsive instruction at IslandWood, focusing on natural and cultural history, ecology, and stewardship for diverse elementary-aged students. Prior experience includes roles as a Social Work Site Coordinator at Communities In Schools of Tacoma, where Finn assisted families and students in accessing community resources, and as a Case Manager II at the YMCA of Greater Seattle, where Finn managed caseloads of young adults to support their transitions to independent living. Additional roles consist of providing guidance as a Trail and Grief Guide with WILD GRIEF, and as a Residential Counselor with Community Youth Services, where Finn developed individualized treatment plans. Academic credentials include a Master of Education in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Michigan State University.
