Jan Torvald Skaala currently serves as the Manager of IT and Digitization at Island Drilling Company AS since October 2023. Prior to this role, Jan held the position of Information Communication Technology Project Manager at Eviny from September 2019 to February 2024 and worked as an IT/IS Manager at Bergen Group ASA, which later became Endúr ASA, from May 2008 to September 2019. Jan also fulfilled the role of IT/IS Manager at Endùr ASA for a brief period in 2019. Earlier experience includes positions as an IT Consultant at Palantir from August 2002 to April 2008, Statoil from January 2000 to July 2002, and SITA from October 1998 to January 2000. Jan holds an IT degree from the Norwegian School of Information Technology and has completed studies in psychology at the University of Bergen, along with education from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
