Thomas Liebmann has a diverse work experience in the actuarial field. Thomas started their career as a Trainee Actuary at Nigel Sloam & Co in 2011, where they provided calculations for clients regarding pension schemes and informed them about the impact of government legislation on their pension funds.
In 2012, Thomas joined Willis Towers Watson and held multiple roles. As an Actuarial Analyst, they performed individual calculations, analyzed large data sets, and served as a delivery specialist for two separate capacities, namely GMP and an in-house product for calculating transfer values. In their subsequent role as a Systems Consultant / Software Developer, they automated bespoke pension calculations using Python programming and Fortran, and coded complex reports using SQL based on pension data.
In 2020, Thomas joined Hymans Robertson as an Actuarial Trainee Consultant. In this role, they gained experience in consulting and trained to become a consultant actuary.
Currently, Thomas works at Isio as an Actuarial Manager starting from January 2023.
Thomas Liebmann completed their A Levels in Mathematics (A), Further Mathematics (A), and Physics (C) at Tiffin School in Kingston, United Kingdom, from 2005 to 2007. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Leeds from 2008 to 2011.
