Elizabeth Ecker

Head Of Middle School at Isidore Newman School

Elizabeth Ecker has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as the Head of Middle School at Isidore Newman School since August 2006, overseeing a division of 224 students and over 30 faculty members. Ecker's prior roles at the school include Assistant Head of Middle School, where initiatives included revamping the advisory program and aligning disciplinary practices with core values, as well as serving as a middle school history teacher and French teacher. Before Isidore Newman School, Ecker held positions at Camp Castletree at St. George's Episcopal School and Saint Scholastica Academy, contributing as an Assistant Camp Director and teaching French and World History. Ecker holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor of Arts in French with a minor in Secondary Education from Rhodes College.
