Glenn Hedges

Director at ISCA

Glenn has over 25 years’ experience in infrastructure and building delivery across the UK, New Zealand and all Australian jurisdictions, including a mix of C-Suite functional management and technical advisory and delivery roles within the CIMIC Group over the past 15 years. Glenn’s extensive experience across a range of assets provide him with comprehensive insights into the practical drivers of change that effectively influence sustainability outcomes and decision making across planning, procurement, delivery and operations. His principle belief is that increased industry stakeholder and shareholder value are generated from a more proactive, pragmatic and evidence-based approach to sustainability and innovation. Ultimately, Glenn seeks to share his delivery, management and leadership insights and experiences with ISCA’s leadership team to enable it to increase its influence and impact in the infrastructure sector. Glenn’s early vision, tenacity and passion contributed to co-founding what is now ISCA and holding a Non-Executive Director and Company Secretary role during ISCA’s formative years to 2012. Since then, Glenn has continued to be a fierce advocate by continuing to directly support ISCA in paid and voluntary capacities. It is acknowledged that suspension of these support roles would occur if Glenn returns to the Board. Acknowledged by his industry peers for his delivery and technical experience, Glenn will provide valuable direction and focus on governance and strategy, particularly ensuring ISCA’s internal governance processes and performance meet industry’s expectations of providing: a first-class service to its members and stakeholders, accelerated evolution of its existing rating tools to ensure they remain fit for purpose, useful performance benchmarking data, and higher profile advocacy of issues which create impact. Glenn’s practical project delivery and industry leadership experience will bring an important industry perspective and awareness to the Board enabling ISCA to achieve industry expectations resulting in continual improvement and sustainable growth.
