Sonja van Ogtrop is currently serving as AIOS Interne Geneeskunde at Isala since May 2023, following a role as ANIOS Interne Geneeskunde at Deventer Ziekenhuis from April 2022 to March 2023. Previous positions include Semi-arts Cardiologie and Semi-arts Interne Geneeskunde at Deventer Ziekenhuis, and Senior Coassistent at ZGT, encompassing various specialties such as urology, dermatology, and psychiatry. Sonja also gained research experience as a student-researcher in Dermatology at UMCG and served as Junior Coassistent in several medical fields. Sonja held leadership roles at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, contributing to educational committees overseeing medical education quality. Academic credentials include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Medicine from the University of Groningen, as well as a gymnasium diploma from Christelijk Lyceum Apeldoorn.
