Adeleke Akinola, P.Eng, PMP, MICorr, IWE, is a seasoned Senior Materials Engineer at Irving Oil since November 2020, with prior expertise as a Lead FPSO Materials and Welding Engineer at Samsung Heavy Industries, where contributions included developing welding procedures and material specifications for the Egina FPSO project. Experience also encompasses roles at Amni International Petroleum Development Company Limited as Lead Materials, Welding & Corrosion Coordinator, and as a Materials & Corrosion Specialist at Amaiden Energy for ExxonMobil, focusing on pipeline integrity and corrosion management. Adeleke holds a Master’s and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Metallurgy and Metallurgy from the National University of Science and Technology "MISIS."
