Carla Flores has a diverse work experience spanning from 2000 to the present. Carla started their career as a Teacher at Arlington ISD and then worked as an Assistant Principal at Hurst-Euless-Bedford I.S.D. Carla also served as a Soccer Referee for the North Texas Soccer Association. Carla then took on the role of an SAT/ACT Proctor at an Independent School District before joining Irving ISD as a Bilingual Teacher. In Irving ISD, they progressed to become a Middle School Administrative Liaison and an Elementary Assistant Principal. Currently, Carla is a School Principal at Irving ISD. In addition to their education-related roles, they also worked as a Sales and Marketing Specialist at Dragon Spirits Marketing.
Carla Flores received their Bachelor's degree in Multidisciplinary Studies from Texas Tech University, where they studied from 1986 to 1995. Carla later pursued their Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General at the University of North Texas, graduating between 2007 and 2009. Additionally, Carla obtained a certification in Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in 2022.
