Malcolm Cortez, PE, is an experienced engineering manager currently serving as a board member of Leadership Tomorrow OC since August 2022. With a career at Irvine Ranch Water District that began in October 1991, Malcolm holds the title of Engineering Manager and oversees the Operations Support group, which provides essential engineering support to the Operations Department and manages the design and construction of various Capital Projects. Previously, Malcolm held progressive engineering roles within the same organization, culminating in the position of Principal Engineer before transitioning to Engineering Manager. Earlier in Malcolm's career, experience was gained at Adams Streeter Civil Engineers and Belt Collins, focusing on civil engineering design for a variety of residential and commercial projects across California and Hawaii. Malcolm holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
