John Harris, CFA, currently serves as the Director of Business Analysis & Research at Irvine Company Apartments since July 2024. Prior to this role, John was a Vice President and Analyst at FPA (First Pacific Advisors) from July 2022 to June 2024, where involvement focused on contrarian investment strategies. Earlier experience includes serving as a Vice President and Analyst at Phaeacian Partners, an FPA international value team spin-off, from October 2020 to June 2022, and at FPA itself in the international value team from January 2018 to September 2020. John’s career began at Brandes Investment Partners, where responsibilities as a Research Associate included global value equities from August 2012 to December 2017. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara, awarded in June 2012.
