Penny Yu is an accomplished sales professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Executive Regional Sales Manager at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals since July 2015, Penny has received the President’s Circle Award and the Sales Excellence Award, recognizing exceptional performance in the top 5% and 10% nationally, respectively. Prior experience includes roles as an Executive Sales Representative at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson and as a District Business Manager in Los Angeles South for Johnson & Johnson, where Penny led teams to exceed business goals. Additionally, Penny was a Senior Territory Business Manager, earning the President’s Circle distinction and completing the JNJ Management Development Program. Penny began a career in recruitment as a Scientific Recruiter at Aerotek, where recognition as Scientific Recruiter of the Year was achieved. An educational background in Journalism and Business Administration was obtained from the University of Southern California.
