Gloria Esionye has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles.

Gloria is currently working as the Group Head Finance at IROKO Partners Limited, starting in April 2020.

Prior to that, from 2018 to 2019, they served as a Financial Controller at gbamng.

In 2017, Gloria worked as a Corporate Finance Manager at CWG PLC.

From 2014 to 2017, they were employed at Sahara Group, where they held the positions of Finance Manager and Business Executive.

Before that, they worked at Visafone Communications Limited from 2008 to 2013. During their time there, they held various roles including Senior Accountant, Account Payable; Senior Accountant, Inventory Management; and Senior Officer, Regional Finance(Operating Expenditure).

Gloria's career began in 2005 at Airtel Nigeria, where they held the positions of Accountant, Operating Expenditure: Accounts Payable and Assistant Accountant, Credit Control/Risk management.

Gloria Esionye completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at Ahmadu Bello University. Gloria later pursued a Master of Science degree in Professional Accountancy from the University of London. In terms of certifications, Gloria obtained the ACA (Association of Chartered Accountants) certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in November 2017. Before that, they obtained the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) certification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in April 2014. In August 2007, Gloria obtained the ACE (The Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria) certification.
