Max Chen is an accomplished Senior Industrial Designer with extensive experience in product design and user experience. Currently at iRobot since April 2019, Max focuses on creating innovative solutions that enhance user functionality. Previously, Max worked as an Industrial Designer at Southern Telecom Inc., where responsibilities included collaborating with managers and clients to define design requirements and conducting user research. An early experience as an Experience Design Intern at Discovery World involved researching and designing interactive experiences. Max also served as an Instructional Assistant at Syracuse University, supporting undergraduate design students. Max holds a Master of Fine Arts in Collaborative Design from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial and Product Design from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, with additional studies in Industrial Design at the University of Bridgeport.
