Rui Freitas currently serves as Diretor Gerente at Instituto das Irmãs Hospitaleiras do Sagrado Coração de Jesus since November 2020 and is also a TOC with Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados, holding the certification TOC 58285 since October 1999. Freitas has been involved with The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride as Anfitrião since April 2021. Previously, Freitas managed operations and financial aspects at Entregafarm - Logística Farmacêutica lda from December 1999 to November 2020 and held the position of F&B Controller at Galo Resort Hotels from October 1998 to November 1999. Rui Freitas holds a Postgraduate Degree in Gestão na Saúde from Católica Porto Business School, a Licenciatura em Gestão de Empresas from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, a First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge, and a Técnico de Contabilidade qualification from Escola Secundária Francisco Franco.
