Megan Fitzsimons is a Communications Officer and Digital Media Specialist at the Irish Wheelchair Association since June 2018. Previous experience includes roles in communications, STEM, and event management at Intel Corporation, as well as an internship as a Communications Officer at the Irish Research Council where responsibilities included content writing, research, event management, social media management, and copywriting. Additionally, Megan volunteered as an Event Coordinator at Dublin City University and held positions as a Food Service Director at Sodexo and a Customer Service Representative at Fazio Restaurant Group. Education includes a Higher National Diploma in Interactive Digital Media and Graphic Design from Griffith College Dublin, a Master of Science in Science Communication from Dublin City University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Anthropology from Maynooth University, complemented by a High School Diploma from Coláiste Cois Life.
