Elaine Cannizzaro has a diverse and extensive work experience. Elaine began their career in 1999 as the Director of Operations at Whale Communications, where they played a crucial role in the company's growth before it was acquired by Microsoft.

In 2006, Cannizzaro joined Vital Decisions as the Director of Counseling Operations, overseeing a team of healthcare counselors and contributing to the development of a specialized counseling methodology for terminally ill patients. In 2011, they transitioned to the role of Director of Product Management, responsible for enhancing the company's counseling service by incorporating the latest research updates and implementing changes to the counseling methodology and tracking systems.

Cannizzaro's career at Vital Decisions continued with their role as Recruitment and Training Coordinator from 2014-2015. In this position, they conducted recruitment processes and provided new hire training for clinical staff. Elaine later served as the Director of Clinical Quality and Product Development from 2015-2017, accepting increasing levels of responsibility to help the company grow, improve operational efficiency, and ensure quality control.

In 2013, Cannizzaro founded EMC Consulting LLC, a consulting firm focused on operations process development, tracking/management system design, recruiting, and HR services. During their time as CEO, they specialized in assisting start-ups and small businesses.

Most recently, Cannizzaro joined Iris Plans in 2018 as the Vice President of Operations, where they utilize their previous experience to oversee day-to-day operations and contribute to the company's success.

Elaine Cannizzaro obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from William Paterson University of New Jersey. Elaine attended this institution from 1984 to 1988. Afterwards, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Psychology and Counseling from Goddard College, which they successfully completed from 2004 to 2006. In 2017, Elaine Cannizzaro enrolled in the Institute of Therapeutic Massage to specialize in Massage Therapy/Therapeutic Massage. Elaine completed a program in Licensed Massage Therapy during the same year.
