Joy Don Carlos is an experienced aerospace professional with a robust background in satellite launch and integration. Currently serving as Launch Technical Manager at Iridium Satellite LLC since 2008, Joy has managed the integration and launch of 80 Iridium NEXT Satellites across nine Falcon 9 missions, overseeing the proposal evaluation, contract negotiations, design reviews, technical issue resolution, and launch operations. Prior experience includes roles at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems as a Launch Vehicle Systems Engineer and at The Boeing Company as a Mission Integration Engineer specializing in Delta IV systems. Joy holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University and continues education at Smith College, along with studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
