Nick Salerno has a strong background in software engineering, with experience in both senior and data engineering roles. Nick currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Irdeto. Prior to this, they worked for Virtuagym for four years, where they were responsible for refactoring a monolithic application to microservices and leading projects such as integrating with Stripe and Handpoint. Before Virtuagym, they gained experience as a Data Engineer at Xccelerated, where they worked on advanced training programs and had the opportunity to work with companies like Heineken and KLM. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Software Engineer at Berlinger USA, LLC, focusing on development projects for an IoT system and clinical trial monitoring solutions. Additionally, Nick's work experience includes teaching mathematics and physics at the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.

Nick Salerno completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services at the University of Sydney from 2004 to 2008. Nick further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering from the same university, which they completed between 2009 and 2011.
