Rene Lamer is an accomplished professional in the insurance and reinsurance sectors, currently serving as the Head of Reinsurance for IQUW in Bermuda since November 2021. Prior to this role, Rene held significant positions at Sompo International from March 2002 to November 2020, including Managing Director of Underwriting & Operations and Chief Executive of the Singapore Branch. In 2020, Rene also undertook a unique role as a Trainee Gardener, demonstrating a diverse range of experiences throughout the career.
