Diarmuid Brennan currently serves as General Counsel at IQUW, a position held since September 2021. Prior to this role, Diarmuid was the General Counsel at Zurich International Life Insurance from June 2018 to September 2021 and held the title of Head of Legal Transformation at AXA Partners for a brief period in late 2017. Diarmuid's extensive legal career includes roles such as Head of Legal at Unum UK and Consultant at Direct Line and MetLife, where responsibilities encompassed legal advisement on insurance-related issues and cross-border mergers. Diarmuid founded Diarmuid Brennan & Co, a law firm, and served as Syndicate General Counsel at Ascot Underwriting, alongside various legal positions at CMGL and Wilde Sapte where expertise in insurance and reinsurance litigation was established. Diarmuid Brennan earned an LLM in Commercial Law from the University of London and a LLB from the University of Birmingham.
