Pete Statham is an experienced sustainability professional currently serving as the Head of Sustainability & Government Relations for Sysco and Brakes UK since January 2022, where responsibilities include establishing governance structures for sustainability in GB operations. Previously, Pete worked at Carlsberg Marston's Brewing Company as Sustainability Manager, overseeing sustainability programs across multiple breweries, and held dual roles at Carlsberg Group with a focus on sustainability communications and the "Together Towards ZERO" initiative. Earlier experience includes working as Client Director and Senior Sustainability Consultant at Context Group, providing sustainability strategy advice to multinational companies. Pete holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Development and a BA (Hons) in Geography from the University of Exeter.
