Rajat Bannerji MD PhD currently serves as the Senior Medical Development Director at Ipsen since January 2023. Concurrently, Rajat holds positions as a Professor in the Department of Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and as volunteer faculty in the Section of Leukemia/Lymphoma/Hematologic Malignancies at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, both since February 2012. Previous roles include Director of Oncology Clinical Research at Merck from November 2009 to February 2012, and Director at Schering-Plough Research Institute from October 2005 to February 2012. Rajat's early career involved a hematology/oncology fellowship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center from July 1998 to June 2001 and internal medicine training at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from June 1995 to June 1998. Education includes a PhD and MD in Molecular Biology and Medicine from Cornell University, where Rajat studied from 1986 to 1995, and a BA in Biology from Cornell University completed in 1986.
