Daniel Valcour has extensive experience in sales and product management within the optical and telecom industries. Currently serving as Manager of Diode and Laser Sales at IPG Photonics since 2001, Daniel is responsible for business development and sales of diode laser and fiber laser products. In previous roles at IPG Photonics, Daniel managed telecom sales, focusing on domestic and international sales channel creation and account management. Earlier experiences include product management at SCHOTT AG, market management at Fiber Optic Network Solutions, and various managerial and engineering positions at Lucent Technologies. Daniel holds a B.S. in Physics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
