Barry White is an experienced leader in infrastructure and economic development, currently serving as Chair at IML - Infrastructure Managers Ltd since January 2024 and as an independent Non Executive Director and Consultant on a £1bn portfolio of infrastructure concessions since May 2021. Notable past roles include Chief Executive of Transport for the North, where significant transport and economic development initiatives were implemented, and Chief Executive of Scottish Futures Trust, which focused on commercial delivery across housing and infrastructure. Barry has held various advisory and board positions, including as Co-Chair of the National Strategy for Economic Transformation Delivery Board with the Scottish Government and Member of European and UK Councils for IPFA. Barry holds a BSc (1st Class Hons) in Civil Engineering from The University of Edinburgh.
