Justine Wai is an experienced legal professional with a strong background in information and privacy law. Currently serving as an Adjudicator and Adjudication Review Officer at the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario since November 2011, Justine has extensive experience in adjudication processes. As a Volunteer Facilitator at the Royal Ontario Museum since September 2004, Justine engages visitors and supports the educational experience for children and school groups. Previous roles include Investigation Specialist at the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, where Justine conducted PIPEDA investigations and authored official Reports of Findings. Justine's early career includes a Student-At-Law position at the Information and Privacy Commissioner/Ontario, a Summer Student role at the Ministry of the Attorney General, and legal administrative assistance at Stikeman Elliott LLP. Justine holds a JD from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School and an Hons. B.A. with Distinction from the University of Toronto.
