Dr Ernest Nyamato

Global Associate Director, Quality Of Care at Ipas

Dr. Ernest Nyamato has a diverse work experience in the field of healthcare and advocacy. Dr Ernest has held positions at various organizations like Ipas, The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, IMA World Health, Africare, Médecins Sans Frontières Belgium, University Research Co., LLC-Center for Human Services, South African Business Coalition on HIV and AIDS, LVCT Health, and Aga Khan University Hospital.

At Ipas, Dr. Nyamato served as the Global Associate Director, Quality of Care. Dr Ernest also held the roles of Africa Alliance Director and Deputy Regional Director, Kenya Country Lead, where they focused on promoting access to quality Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights for vulnerable populations, particularly girls and women.

Dr Ernest worked at The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria as the HIV Focal Point and Expert Member of the Technical Review Panel, contributing to the fight against these diseases.

Dr Ernest'sacademic journey began at Moi University, where they pursued a degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) from 1993 to 1999.
