Gareth Evans currently serves as the IPA City Head for Birmingham and the Midlands, where responsibilities include championing IPA member agencies and fostering community and collaboration within the advertising industry. Additionally, Gareth is a member of the IPA New Business and Marketing group. As Group Managing Director at Cogent, Gareth oversees the integrated creative agency and its creative studio, Junction Eleven. A history of business development leadership includes roles as Business Development Director at Five by Five and The Marketing Store, where strategic initiatives and marketing strategies were implemented. Previous experience includes positions at FRUKT Communications and Weapon7, as well as foundational roles at The WNB Consultancy and Signet. Gareth holds a Bachelor of Arts in European Business from Nottingham Trent University.
