Wen Ruan currently serves as Chief Scientist at IP.com since January 2014 and has been associated with TextWise since May 2000, holding various positions including Chief Science Officer, Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Research Scientist. Wen Ruan earned a Ph.D. in Medical Informatics from Justus Liebig University Giessen between 1997 and 1999, and holds a M.S. in Electrical Engineering, as well as a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and Instrumentation, both obtained from Xi'an Jiaotong University, with the master's degree achieved from 1990 to 1993 and the bachelor's degree from 1985 to 1989.
