Pete Hjelmstad possesses extensive experience in the fields of media and technology, currently serving as a FAA Licensed Drone Pilot and Field Services Coordinator at the Iowa Department of Transportation since September 2007. Prior experience includes working as Voice Talent at Clear Lake Bank & Trust Company from March 2008 to March 2014, and a significant tenure at KIMT-TV from May 1993 to September 2007, where responsibilities included News Anchor, Executive Producer, Sports Director, and Sports Journalist. Pete Hjelmstad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Minnesota State University Moorhead, obtained between 1986 and 1989.
